Protecting account access, listings and sales proceeds.
Has your eBay seller account been suspended, a listing removed following a VeRO report, or a payout withheld? We review the matter and represent your legal interests against the platform or a competitor who submitted the report.
An IP complaint may affect individual listings. Account restrictions and payment holds are separate matters. We establish which action has been taken, which company is involved and what evidence supports your position.
01
Restricted or suspended seller accounts
We review the notice, the reasons given, your selling history and previous correspondence. Where a breach is alleged, the actual course of events matters. Opening another account or repeatedly submitting generic appeals is no substitute for resolving the issue.
02
VeRO reports and removed listings
VeRO concerns intellectual property rights. We assess the trademark, copyright or other right asserted and the specific use. Distribution or pricing arrangements do not automatically create an IP infringement. Where complaints are unfounded, we also consider claims against the reporting party.
Open buyer cases, proof of dispatch and restrictions on the payment account may be relevant to a hold. We compare transaction reports and notices to identify payment claims and the responsible contracting party.
04
Assessing court options at an early stage
If interim proceedings are being considered, both the claim and urgency must be substantiated. A long delay may undermine urgency. A court may reject an interim application on that basis without finally deciding that the suspension was lawful.
For business sellers on eBay, trademark owners and resellers
eBay is removing my listings following a VeRO report. Can you review the complaint?
We review the IP right asserted, the reporting party and your product evidence. Responding to the report and seeking reinstatement of a listing are assessed separately from any account suspension.
eBay is withholding my sales proceeds even though deliveries are complete.
We review account and transaction holds using payment reports, proof of dispatch and restriction notices. We also establish which company is responsible for the action.

Questions & answers.
Can eBay raise an objection to a listing even if the goods are genuine?
The authenticity of the goods does not answer every question. The product description, image rights and the specific use of a trademark require separate consideration. We review the precise objection raised.
Is every VeRO report conclusive evidence of an infringement?
No. A report submitted to a platform is not a court decision. Whether the asserted right exists and has been infringed must be assessed using the evidence.
Should I wait several weeks for support to respond?
That depends on the course of events and the consequences. If interim court relief may be appropriate, timing is particularly important. Document every notice and seek a prompt assessment of significant restrictions.
