Legal advice for online shops and platform commerce.
Your business. Your contracts. Your access to the market.
Amazon removes a listing, eBay restricts a seller account or a payment provider withholds sales proceeds: we advise online merchants in disputes with platforms and competitors. Our work also covers Shopify stores, PayPal business accounts and the legal framework for your own online shop.
We first identify the nature of the dispute: does it concern the platform contract, a complaint alleging an infringement or the payout of sales proceeds already earned? Different measures may involve different contracting entities and evidence. We agree the scope of review, approach and fees with you.

Amazon: seller accounts, ASINs and funds
We review account suspensions, individual suspended listings and withheld sales proceeds. Where complaints concern trademarks, product images or alleged counterfeits, we also examine the shared product page and potential claims against the complainant.
A listing removed following a VeRO complaint is a different measure from a complete account suspension. We assess the allegation, affected listings and previous appeals, and review payment issues separately.
For Shopify, we distinguish store access, content complaints and Shopify Payments restrictions. Connected payment providers may also be separate contracting parties. This distinction determines the next steps.
We review restricted business accounts, reserves and withheld payments. Continuing to use an account and obtaining a payout are different objectives. The composition of the balance and the grounds for withholding it are central to the review.
Within the agreed scope, we review checkout processes, customer information, contract terms and advertising. Products, target customers, markets and recurring services determine the review. Contracts with service providers can involve both e-commerce and IT law.
We examine rights in trademarks, images and text, as well as potentially unlawful interference by competitors. An unfounded platform report, a valid IP complaint and an incorrect product listing each require their own assessment.
For online merchants, brands, manufacturers and shop owners
My sales platform is blocking listings or payouts. Which service is relevant?
We distinguish seller accounts, individual listings, IP complaints and payment processing. Our pages on Amazon, eBay, Shopify and PayPal explain the relevant documents and the types of review available.
Can you review my store and contracts before launch?
We agree the scope of the review based on your products, target markets and ordering process. This may include legal notices and terms, advertising, customer information and contracts with service providers.
First, briefly describe the facts. We will coordinate with you how to submit further documents.

Questions & answers.
Do you represent merchants against both the platform and competitors?
Both may be possible. We establish who initiated each measure and what you want to achieve. Restoring a listing, stopping an unfounded complaint and pursuing payment are separate matters for review.
Can I have a new shop reviewed before launch?
Yes. An accessible test version, product information and details of your target markets are helpful. We agree whether the review covers areas such as checkout, terms and conditions, advertising, subscriptions or service provider contracts.
What does representation cost?
First describe the platform, the measure taken and your objective. The scope of services and fees are agreed individually. An enquiry does not itself trigger legal action, acceptance of a mandate or responsibility for meeting deadlines.
