The issue
Your contract matters.
On 1 October 2026, the Federal Court of Justice confirmed that the challenged Prime price-adjustment clause is invalid due to a lack of transparency (III ZR 205/25). For a refund claim, we examine whether your contract predates the increase, the agreed prices, any consent to changes and the amounts you actually paid. New contracts, plan changes, refunds and limitation issues can affect the outcome.
This service concerns the 2022 Prime membership fee increase. Advertising and ad-free Prime Video from 2024 are a different issue.
